Housewife murdered

A housewife was killed allegedly by her husband at Josyabda village in Sadar upazila of Habiganj district on Monday. The deceased is Doly Akhter, 35, wife of Lal Miah of the village. Police and locals said Lal Miah stabbed Doly, leaving her dead on the spot following a family feud around 6:00pm. Lal Miah went into hiding soon after the incident, said Nazim Uddin, officer-in-charge of Habiganj Police Station.
