Man held with fake currency

Rapid Action battalion (Rab) personnel on Monday arrested a man with Tk1.51 lakh fake currency in Joypurhat on Monday.

The arrestee was identified as Tofazzal Hossain, 30, son of late Sekendar Ali of Sahebpara area in Joypurhat Sadar upazila.

Acting on a tip off, a team of Joypurhat Crime Prevention Camp (CPC -3 () of Rab-5, raided Haripur village on Monday evening and arrested Tofazzal with Tk1.51 lakh fake currency, seized a computer, a colour printer and a scanner used for making fake notes.
