Next hearing begins Oct 24

A Habiganj court recorded the testimony of the witnesses in the four kids murder case in Habiganj for the second day yesterday.

District and Sessions Judge Md Atabullah heard the testimony of the witnesses, said Trilok Kanti Chowdhury Bijan, special public prosecutor for the case. The court set October 24 and 25 for hearing of the next deposition, he added.

Monir, 7, Zakaria Shuvo, 8, son of Abdul Wahid Miah; Mohammad Tajel Mia, 10, son of Abdul Aziz; and Ismail Miah, 10, son of Abdul Kader, went missing on February 12 after they went to a nearby playground in the afternoon at Sundrateki village in Bahubal upazila of the district. Later, they were found murdered.

Officer-in-Charge Moktadir Alam of Detective Branch of police pressed charges against nine people in the case on April 5.
