Youth jailed for stalking

A mobile court sentenced a youth to one month's imprisonment for stalking a female schoolteacher in Kulaura upazila of the district yesterday.

The convict is Towfiq Miah, 22, son of Rashid Miah, a resident of Monoraj village.

Police said Towfiq used to tease the teacher on her way to home from the school on Itahari-Sodpasha road under Kulaura municipality.

On information, the law enforcers arrested Towfiq yesterday.
