Anupam Roy concert postponed until further notice
The much-anticipated concert “One True Sound with Anupam Roy”, scheduled to take place on June 26 at the United Convention Center in Dhaka, has been postponed until further notice.
According to the organisers, all necessary preparations for the event had been completed and the required approvals from the relevant authorities had been secured. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, the government later instructed the organisers not to proceed with the concert.
As a result, the event has been postponed, with a new date expected to be announced soon.
In a statement, Yamaha Music Bangladesh and Triple Time Communications confirmed that all ticket holders will receive a full refund through the official ticketing platform from which their tickets were purchased. The refund process is expected to begin within the next 24 hours.
“We sincerely thank all audience members, well-wishers, partners, sponsors, and collaborators for their support and understanding during these unforeseen circumstances,” the organisers said in a joint statement. “We remain hopeful that we will soon be able to reunite with you for an unforgettable evening of music at a more favourable time.”
