Warfaze-inspired Zippo lighters launched in Bangladesh

Global lighter brand Zippo has officially begun its collaboration with Bangladeshi rock band Warfaze, marking the band as the first from South Asia to partner with the iconic company.

As part of the collaboration, Zippo has introduced two limited-edition lighters inspired by Warfaze’s music. One design draws from the band’s debut album “Warfaze”, while the other is based on their album “Pothchola”. The products are now available through Zippo Bangladesh’s official platforms.

The partnership follows an agreement signed last year and will see Zippo supporting various activities of the band moving forward. In Bangladesh, the brand is marketed by Luxco Trading Limited.

Warfaze band leader Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu described the collaboration as a significant milestone. “Warfaze’s music has always connected with generations. Partnering with an iconic brand like Zippo is a matter of great pride. It’s a historic moment for us,” he said.

He added that Zippo has worked with numerous legendary musicians over the years, making Warfaze’s inclusion particularly meaningful. The band recently received the Ekushey Padak, further adding to its four-decade legacy.

Managing Director of Luxco Trading, Irfan Hossain, said the initiative aims to build a culture of collectible merchandise in Bangladesh, with plans to introduce more culturally inspired editions in the future.
