10th Sanjeeb Utshab to serenade DU today

The tenth iteration of the annual Sanjeeb Utshab will be conducted in honour of the late musician Sanjeeb Choudhury's birthday today.

The celebration will take place in Sanjeeb Chattar, TSC, Dhaka University.

Since 2010, the Sanjeeb Utshab Udjayapan Board is organizing this festival at Dhaka University every year. Shuvo Jatra, Joy Shahriar, Subconscious, Bay of Bengal, Sahosh Mostafiz, Lalon Mahmud, Suhrid Swagata, Durga, Introit, and Band Biscuits are among the artists performing at the tenth edition of the festival.

This festival will also see the release of the beloved artistes' music and poetry compilation titled "Tomakey Boley Debo", collated and edited by Joy Shahriar.

Aajob Prokash is the publisher of the book. "Sanjeeb da has been gone for 14 years, and we have been holding this festival for ten years. This event reflects out love towards him. The major goal of this festival is to communicate the idea of his songs to individuals who have never met him."

This event, which will begin at 4 pm, is being organized by Dhaka University Cultural Organisation, Dhaka University Band Society, and Aajob Karkhana.
