Britney Spears' former husband, Jason Alexander, crashed her wedding in southern California, as reported by the authorities. A member of Ventura County Sheriff said that their officers responded to a trespassing call after 2 PM on Thursday.

The representative said that the pop singer's first husband, Jason Alexander, was detained at the location of the wedding ceremony. Alexander was arrested after officers noticed that he had a warrant for his arrest in another county.

Alexander went live on his Instagram account, in a mostly empty but decorated room. He approached the venue security and told them that he was invited by Spears.

"She's my first wife, my only wife," said Alexander, "I'm her first husband, and I'm here to crash the wedding."

Alexander was briefly married to Spears—his childhood friend—in 2004, in a marriage that lasted only 55 hours.

Spears and her fiance Sam Asghari were reportedly going to be married on Thursday after making an announcement on social media.
