Shakib Khan begins shooting for ‘Rockstar’

Amid the ongoing buzz surrounding “Prince”, Shakib Khan has begun shooting his upcoming Eid-ul-Azha release “Rockstar”. Filming for the project officially commenced today (March 24), with the first phase currently underway in Malaysia.

The film is directed by Azman Rusho. According to sources close to the production, several key scenes will be filmed across scenic international locations, with the team currently stationed in Malaysia to capture those sequences.

The director aims to present “Rockstar” with a fresh cinematic approach, focusing on international-standard visuals and a sleek, stylish treatment. Efforts are reportedly being made to bring novelty to every aspect of the film, including its storyline, filmmaking style, and Shakib Khan’s on-screen look.

The screenplay has been penned by contemporary writer Ayman Asib Shadhin.

The film will feature two female leads. Tangia Zaman Methila has been cast in one of the roles, while the actress playing the main heroine has yet to be announced.
