Zayed Khan deserves to be a leader: Munmun

Actress Munmun, who was subject to much criticism after a video of her 'taking bribe' from Zayed Khan during the Film Artistes Association election went viral, expressed anger and frustration at the fiasco.

The actress recently appeared at a press conference with Zayed Khan, at the BFDC.

According to Munmun, on the election day, she met Zayed Khan and while talking to him, she took her mask off and kept it in her handbag.

She blamed the 'YouTubers' for spreading the rumour, calling it a 'propaganda'. "I wonder why an artiste like Nipun is being influenced by this propaganda?" she says.

She also shared that Zayed Khan has always stood beside all artistes. "In fact, I have never seen him raising any allegations against any of his colleagues, he has always been supportive. He deserves to be a leader," she asserted.

The actress also questioned Nipun, "How can a leader of artistes blame artistes?"
