12kg LPG cylinder price hiked by Tk 53

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) today announced the updated prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for January.

As per the new announcement, a 12 kg LPG cylinder would be sold at Tk 1,306 at retail level, marking a Tk 53 increase compared to the prices of December.

Per kg LPG would be sold at Tk 108.83. Autogas -- LPG usage in vehicles -- would cost Tk 59.80 per litre.

BERC Chairman Jalal Ahmed announced the new pricing at their office. He said the new prices would be effective from 6:00pm today.
