Everyone is Happy at Cox's Bazar

Everyone is Happy at Cox's Bazar

After a poor start to the holiday season largely due to hartals, blockades and political turmoil last year, tourists are thronging the beach of Cox's Bazar in high numbers again. Apart from the natural beauty of the longest sea beach on earth, there is a lot more for the average tourist to look forward to. The annual kite festival, Jet Ski and speed boat rides, parasailing and canoeing, to name a few. There is something for almost everyone to enjoy. Some choose to get a shovel and start building sand castles on the beach while others prefer lying on the beach chairs in the evening and gazing at the stars above with the sea beneath stretching to the horizon. Some prefer to go shopping in the stalls lined up near the beach that sell items largely made out of seashells, snails, and dead corals. And some just want to pick up starfish that get washed ashore or chase the small crabs that dig holes in the beach.
