ANTI-DRINKING WARNING IN FILMS NOT CORRECT WAY: AAMIR KHAN

After putting statutory warnings over smoking scenes, the Censor Board has now introduced anti-drinking warnings in scenes where actors are depicted consuming alcohol. However, actor Aamir Khan says there are other ways of conveying this message. "I feel the creativity of the film should not be affected. I don't think this is the solution as it spoils the creativity of the film. The audience are paying money and coming to watch the film, so they should not get disturbed. Either put out a message before or after the film, that's fine. I don't think this is the correct way of going about it." Aamir Khan said. Adding to this, Vidhu Vinod Chopra said: "I feel attention gets more attraction and it has a reverse effect. Youngsters can get more rebellious as it will be counter-productive." The first Hindi film to get such an insertion is the recently released "Happy New Year" starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

APPRECIATION MORE IMPORTANT THAN MONEY

Deepika Padukone values appreciation for her work more than anything else. "Appreciation is important. What do we work for? If I work hard for my film and if my work is not appreciated, then what is the point," Deepika said in a group interview. "In fact, money is the least important thing and success also is not so important," she added. The actress came with a bang to Bollywood through 'Om Shanti Om', but post that, she was panned by critics for being wooden-faced. But tables turned when she sailed through her roles in films like 'Cocktail', 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani', 'Chennai Express' and 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela'. Her recent choice of films has resonated well with the audience as well as the box office, but Deepika doesn't make conscious efforts to choose films that can impact box office. "For me, box office is not important in the process of making a film. If I'm being true to the film, then it's good. You have to choose films from your heart. A film should be done for the script. The destiny of the film is different, but I have to enjoy the process," she said. Her newly released film, 'Happy New Year', alongside Shah Rukh Khan, is one of the most talked about film in Bollywood at the moment.

SRK WORKING ON 'RAEES'
AND 'FAN' FOR 2015 RELEASE

While "Raees" was initially supposed to go on the floor from 1 November this year, "Fan" was likely to start shooting by mid-2014. Putting an end to the speculations regarding the delay of the films, a source close to the projects has reportedly revealed that the films, which have been in the pipeline for quite some time now, will start filming from early next year. "SRK will first begin work on 'Fan' and 'Raees' will commence early next year," a source close to Dholakia told The Deccan Chronicle. Khan has allotted most of his dates to "Raees" and has also been actively involved with the scripting of these two films, the source added. "Raees" will see Khan and Akhtar sharing screen space for the first time. The duo had worked together in "Don" (2006) and its sequel "Don 2" (2011), which Akhtar directed, while SRK played the lead. Sonam Kapoor will be paired opposite the "Happy New Year" actor. "Raees" is set in Gujarat, and Khan will play the role of a Gujarati bootlegger. Meanwhile, details of "Fan" and its cast have not been released. Both the films are set for 2015. SRK's most awaited film "Happy New Year" was released last week.
