Freida Pinto, Dev Patel split after six years of dating

Hollywood-based Indian actress Freida Pinto and her longtime boyfriend Dev Patel are reportedly no longer together. They have been done for a while," a source said. The brunette beauty celebrated her 30th birthday without Patel, 24, this past October. The 'Immortals' actress was, instead, spotted hanging out with aspiring actor and son of Indian businessman Vijay Mallya, Siddharth. "Freida is single and happy. The trailer of Joseph Gordon-Levitt-starrer 'The Walk' has been revealed. The film, originally titled 'To Reach the Clouds', tells the true story of highwire walker Philippe Petit's walk between the twin towers of New York City's World Trade Centre, reported Entertainment Weekly. 'Back to the Future's Robert Zemeckis directs the biopic and Ben Kingsley also stars in it. The story previously inspired 2008 documentary Man On Wire. ‘Batman V Superman's Alfred Can 'Blow Up Bridges' if Needed

After Jeremy Irons promised “a different Alfred” than in previous Batman films, the actor has offered yet another enticing tease of just what Bruce Wayne's right hand man will be capable of. In an interview with Indiewire, Irons offered a description of the trusted servant that few ever expected: in short, “the perfect husband.” “Oh he'll be quite different. He has an interesting history. He's a very competent man. He's the sort of man I think anyone would like to be married to. He can sort of do everything: change light bulbs, blow up bridges if he has to.” Given the responsibilities heaped upon Bruce Wayne's accomplice and confidant in nearly every comic book and film incarnation, “competent” is the least to be hoped for; but the rest of Irons' comment implies much, much more about the kind of Alfred Zack Snyder is after.

Does Marvel Want Andrew Garfield Out as Spider-Man?

With everything that's going on over at Sony since their major hack and information leak, things seem pretty up-in-the-air at the moment for the studio. Unfortunately, there's one fan favorite comic book figure that's getting caught in the middle. Yup, you guessed it: Spider-Man. Poor Spidey. As essentially a child of divorce, the fate of Peter Parker is a current point of contention as Marvel tries to wrangle back some rights from Sony. From the looks of things, according to Latino Review, Marvel is willing to work with Sony in a 60/40 split on the rights. The two items where it looks like Marvel is not willing to budge is relinquishing creative control over the character, and honoring existing contracts. So what does this mean for the current (and my favorite) Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield? Well, it sounds like he and his storyline will be completely wiped so that Marvel can start fresh and maybe even to get Peter Parker ready to seamlessly fit into his inevitable (if these deals get worked out, that is) role in the Civil War storyline.
