NICRH, NIKDU get new directors
The health ministry today reshuffled the leadership of two specialised hospitals in Dhaka.
The Health Services Division issued separate notifications in this regard.
Mostafa Aziz Sumon, an associate professor of radiation oncology at Kurmitola General Hospital, has been made director of the National Institute of Cancer Research and Hospital.
He will replace Prof Jahangir Kabir, who was attached to Dhaka Medical College.
Prof Mohammad Rashed Anwar of the Nephrology Department of the National Institute of Kidney Disease and Urology was made director of the institute.
He will replace Syed Alfa Sani, who was transferred to Sir Salimullah Medical College.
On March 16, the ministry appointed Prof Saifun Nahar as the director of the National Institute of Mental Health and Hospital.
Prof Saifun replaced Prof Mahbubur Rahman, who was transferred to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College.
