Manas' Mantra!

MANAS' aims to indulge your senses in all things classic be it the scent of earth, antiques or even old songs. 

Each of their items is unique as only one of each piece is made. Launched on 9 April 2015 in the premises of Studio Green and Red October at Niketon, Manas' products are mainly for export. Their designs revolve around local handloom materials with quality craftsmanship. "Studio Green Manas presents you with designer household items, jewellery and fashion wear that in its own special way uphold the theme of a classical era," says Faiza Ahmed, Managing Director, Studio Green Manas.

Manas aspire to promote tradition, upheld by struggling artisans as it has always been part of Studio Green Manas' journey. They also have a unique collection of dining runner, bed covers and cushion covers that will create a flow of the old times in your house.

These products are text based, where you will find the lyrics from a song from a classical period or even an ancient art print on a cloth background of an earthy colour tone. From various parts of the country, Manas has collected antique jewellery that are hard to come by. Their jewellery represent the originality of handmade items by artisans and craftsmen and hold within it the essence of Bengal. 

Lamp shades of Manas will bring a refreshing change to your room. As done by all product lines, they are incorporating the theme 'grace of old times' in every industrial and yet products that would decorate your space. The shades are intended to highlight pictures, plants or elements of interior design or landscaping. They are made from recycled materials and are adorned by local materials like metal copper, brass and even tin are completely handmade and customised to become the perfect fusion for your homes and working areas.

Each story of pure artisan's creations are labeled and branded with their names and 1 percent profit is set aside from a 'smile' for the clients. With anything that's cutting edge and goes with the modern idea of style, the old school thought can be incorporated and made into a blend that we can use every day. For instance, it can be the lyrics from an Eric Clapton song, or a famous painting attached to something. Life as it revolves around modern things, will simultaneously revolve around the classics in a way that we will constantly be reminded of such treasures!
