Floods

Flood in Bangladesh is a regular phenomenon. If the government tries its best it can certainly mitigate the chance of flooding of the regions, urban as well as rural, at least in part. What should be done? If the big rivers, which are very shallow, and thus enhance the chances of flooding, are dredged properly and on a regular basis, floods will be less severe.
