DU budget
Dhaka University is the biggest educational institution of Bangladesh. As a student, the budget of Dhaka University is very important to me.
The budget of Dhaka University for the fiscal year 2009 was announced on June 28 at the senate session. The total amount of the budget is Tk 184 crore. From this amount Tk 153 crore will be spent on the salaries of the employees .
Only a little is allocated for research. A university's main expenditure should be on research activities but the reality is different here.
We wanted a change, but the budget of 2009-10 fiscal year could not satisfy us.
