78 fertiliser bags seized in B'Baria
Seventy-eight bags of fertiliser were seized from the house of Monju Member of Chatalpara village under Nasirnagar upazila yesterday.
The seized fertiliszers included 58 bags of Urea and 20 bags of Triple Super Phosphate (TSP.
Police said dealer Hazi Shafi Mia lifted 78 bags of fertiliser and hauled them up at the house of Monju Member instead of keeping those in his shop.
Acting on tip-off, a police team led by the Officer in-Charge (OC) of Nasirnagar police station raided the house and recovered the bags. Police also arrested Monju Member and filed a case.
