Voter registration with photograph began in three hill districts of Khagrachhari, Rangamati and Bandarban yesterday. General Officer Commanding of Chittagong Division Maj Gen Abdul Mubin Chowdhury inaugurated it in Khagrachhari College field, reports our Khagrachhari correspondent. Data collection of eligible voters in the district completed on November 3, District Election Office sources said. Our Rangamati correspondent adds: Deputy Commissioner Md Nurul Amin inaugurated voter registration of the eligible voters at Rangamati Government College. Brigade Commander Md Abdul Moyeen PSC, Sadar zone commander Lt Col Masud Razzak, district election officials and Sadar UNO were present during the inauguration. On the first day, a large number of eligible voters queued up there. Voter registration in Bandarban also began yesterday.
