Police action
Words fail to condemn the brutal, unprovoked police action against the peaceful demonstrators protesting the government's decision to award three offshore blocks to international oil companies allowing them to export up to 80 per cent of gas which will surely harm our interest. From the very inception of this government, such incidents are happening one after another. After the BDR incident, the government blindly sought India's expertise to reconstitute BDR, and then came the decision of withdrawing army from the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
Won't the government come to sense?
