Coco's business partner asked to submit wealth info
Comilla Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday asked Arafat Rahman Coco's business partner and BNP leader Sheikh Farid Ahmed Manik to submit statement of all his wealth, movable and immovable, within seven days.
As nobody was available or willing to accept the notice at Farid Ahmed's residence at Singha in Chandpur town, ACC officials stuck the notice on the gate of the house.
The wealth statement earlier submitted by Manik shows discrepancies and it mentioned less than his real wealth, and hence the fresh notice was served, Comilla ACC Deputy Director Shafiqur Rahman told this correspondent.
Farid Ahmed Manik is the managing director of Silk Wage Cargo Service and general sales agent of Malaysian Airlines as shown in the notice served by ACC, Comilla.
