"VGF bid at stake”, the news was published in The Daily Star on 6 September which drew my attention.
The operation of vulnerable group feeding (VGF) programme was politicised almost in every part of the country when it was started weeks ago. Local ruling party leaders took away VGF cards for distributing among their own people. So, the whole purpose of the scheme was defeated. The authorities concerned should look into the matter.
