Tk 40 crore given for 3 bridges on Kuakata road
The Roads and Highway Department (RHD) has allocated Tk 40 crore as primary allocation to construct three bridges on the 72 kilometre Patuakhali-Kuakata road.
There are three bridges only on the 20 kilometre stretch of road from Kalapara to Kuakata. Chief Advisor Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed during a visit to Barisal on February 4 assured construction of the bridges.
Papers in this regarding reached Patuakhali RHD office on Monday.
“We will invite bids to implement the project as early as possible", RHD engineer Md Shamim Al Mamun said.
