Fertilser dealer held for black marketing
General secretary of Joypurhat Fertiliser Association has been arrested for allegedly selling fertiliser in black market.
Police said association secretary Md. Akramul Haque sold 152 bags of TSP fertiliser to two personsMd Asad Ali and Rana Islam--in Kalai upazila last week.
As the two persons were selling the fartiliser at high prices, villagers informed joint force.
Joint forces took the two fertiliser sellers to custody. They could not show any document to prove dealership and told the law enforcers that they bought the fertilizer from Akramul Haque.
Joint force led by Maj Bakhtiar raided M/s Haque Traders Wednesday evening and arrested Akramul Haque.
Two cases were filed with Joypurhat and Kalai police stations.
