BSF kills one
A Bangladeshi cattle trader was gunned down by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Jalalpur, a border village under Basirhat police station in 24 Parganas, West Bengal Friday night when he was returning home with cattle.
Saiful Islam, 26, of Komorpur village in Debhata upazila died on the spot. BSF took away the body, BDR said.
Maj. Kamrul Hasan, Operations Officer of 41 Rifles Battalion said they sent a protest letter and asked BSF to return the body.
