Voter listing suspended in Dinajpur
Voter registration and issuance of national identity card in Dinajpur is suspended since Saturday due to power supply disruption and shortage of equipment including laptop computer, web-camera and scanners, according to sources in district election commission.
The work began in Dinajpur municipality area on November 11. Till Friday, 52 per cent work was completed, the sources said.
The election commission office got only 32 laptop computers along with other necessary devices against a need for 140, they said.
