One held with 4kg hemp
A drug peddler-Yakub Ali-was arrested from Narikel Bagan area of Masterpara in the hill town yesterday with four kilograms of hemp, police said.
With this 12 drug peddlers have been arrested in the district in last one month. Assistant superintendent of police (ASP) Tareq Ahmed said they have launched a crackdown on the drug peddlers to free the hill district from the menace of drugs.
