Billboard accident
A staff reporter's news item along with a photograph alongside it, gave a totally wrong location of the accident, in a local English daily of 16 March! The report stated the location as "near the Gulshan Shooting Club" while the photograph mentioned the location as "Kadamtuli" in Gulshan.
The actual accident happened right at the Gulshan First Circle; an easily identified location. Neither the report published, nor the location stated below the photograph can be identified with the actual location!! How could this happen? It seemed that the reporter never went near the site, nor did he/she took the trouble to find out where the accident happened. During the event all traffic at Gulshan First Circle was stopped and diverted for more than an hour by the traffic police, while fire brigade carried out the rescue operation!
Giving such an obviously wrong and confusing location, while at the same time quoting witnesses' statements seems something astonishing!
