Walkway of parliament house!
The other day I went walking at the parliament house area as I usually do. Normally I go walking between 6:00 and 7:00pm. But that day I was a bit late. It was around 9:00pm and that made me experience a weird situation.
The Manik Miah Avenue corner of Sangshad Bhaban is perhaps kept dark as I always find the streetlights are off and as a result the pavement of that corner is shadowy. Anyway while my wife and I were walking through the pavement, we figured out a number of young girls wearing heavy make up and colourful dresses aimlessly walking around and giving almost everyone a meaningful look. There were other joggers jogging beside us including some elderly couples. But a number of people, most of them wearing lungi were also there doing nothing. It was a really embarrassing situation. My wife told me if she was walking alone, she would be really scared. This is hard to believe that in front of our parliament house such people can hang around.
The law enforcers have to address the issue.
