Deep seaport
I am a seaman and as a seaman feel that just a deep seaport is not going to benefit us very much if we do not have a developed hinterland. The Chinese have helped Pakistan to build a deep seaport at Gwadar in Baluchistan coast.
So if we do not have a vibrant hinterland our deep seaport will be an exercise in futility.
With careful planning we can make Cox's Bazar the main commercial, industrial and tracking hub of the region.
