The CI and govt.

A reader, USA
The story of a sinking ship is unfolding slowly. The CI can defend his contention politically, but his chances of gaining the status of the chief investigator as per charter of the act was remote and literally impossible. He was behaving like a typical government servant. The government is so squarely embarrassed for taking the wrong path and wrong advice in major policy formulation and strategy. I hope that the trial of war criminals is not slipping away from the grip of the government and controlled by the alleged criminals and their patrons. I can see the need for people and the media to rise up and save the sinking ship, removing all obstacles including projecting the loopholes and inaction of the concerned ministries. I am not ruling out the classic political theory of ' diverting public attention' from government 's failure, when a story is designed.
