Only 800 arches!
On the eve of a party leader's visit to a divisional town , the leaders, supporters reportedly have built 800 arches spending lakhs of taka. The news of this important event was the major headlines of the dailies in Bangladesh.
Apart from erecting arches, the jubilant supporters have displayed huge portraits of the leader all the way from capital to the remote town located about 350 miles away from the capital. It is really very difficult to guess how much more they would spend on other heads. However, few known heads are, hiring of hundreds of buses and trucks to carry the spectators to the meeting spot to listen to her speech.
