Student politics
The students & teachers of Bengal were conscious from the pre-partition days. Bengal took the lead in the struggle for political emancipation & self-determination.
It is unlikely that the leaders of the treasury & the opposition bench of parliament would sever links with the student fronts, because it is the least expensive group for conducting election campaigns countrywide.
