Two commit suicide in city

A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging in Pallabi while another woman in Mohakhali in the city on Tuesday night. Sub-Inspector Rafiqul of Gulshan Police Station said Kalpona Biswas, 23, had a quarrel with her husband Gon Biswas in her house in Sattola Slum area and hung herself with a ceiling fan around 9:00pm. Meanwhile, police said Nowshad Ali, 40, committed suicide by hanging himself with a scarf in his house at Al Falah camp around 9:45pm. Sub-Inspector SM Kashem of Pallabi Police Station said they recovered the hanging body by breaking into his room around 11:00pm.
