CCC staff for regularisation of jobs
A group of temporary employees of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) at a meeting yesterday demanded regularisation of their jobs.
The employees identified as workers of Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal threatened to put the CCC under lock and key if the authorities fail to take any favourable decision in this regard.
They held the meeting at CCC to protest the recent advertisement in newspapers to fill up vacant posts.
Speakers at the rally said a section of CCC officers are trying to appoint new workers against the temporary posts when around 1200 workers are enrolled.
