21 Hijbut men sued

A case was filed with Uzirpur Police Station yesterday against 21 Hijbut Tawhid men on charge of attacking musullis in a procession on Tuesday evening. At least 15 people were injured in a clash between Hijbut Tawhid and local musullis while the devotees from different mosques brought out the procession against Hijbut activities at Uzirpur upazila town. A tense situation has been prevailing there. A court also rejected bail payers of 15 Hijbut men held on Tuesday and the local administration did not allow anti-Hijbut Tawhid rally yesterday. Sahadat Ali Bali, son of Razzak Bali who was severely injured during the clash filed the case against the Hijbut followers including Mozammel Huq Manik, a teacher of Shikarpur Sher-e-Bangla College and regional leader of Hijbut.
