Frobel school fun fair ends in Ctg
A daylong school “Fun Fair” ended here yesterday in the port city with much fanfare and festivity.
Frobel Play School organised the annual fair with the slogan “Play and learn” at Chittagong Jela Krira Shanstha (CJKS) Gymnasium hall.
It was organised in observance of the 100th birth anniversary of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb, spiritual leader of Dawoodi Bohra Community.
Chittagong city Mayor Mohammad Manjur Alam inaugurated the fair as the chief guest. Huwra Zohair presided over the programme.
Indian Assistant High Commissioner Somnath Ghosh, Consulate General of Russian Federation Vladimir Igorov, and Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Abdus Salam also spoke.
Later a cake-cutting ceremony was held. The programme ended with Sheikh Hakimuddin Delhiwala's speech who is thought representative of holiness in Chittagong.
Various kinds of stalls for kids and adolescents were set up including bookshop and magic shop. Games, horse ride, mask making, and fishing game were also held.
