Dhaka College celebrates 170th anniversary

Dhaka College, one of Bangladesh's leading and oldest colleges, celebrated one hundred and seventieth anniversary yesterday. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid, Barrister Sheikh Fazle Nur Taposh and Secretary Dr Kamal Abdul Nasir Chowdhury were present on the occasion. A rally was held to inaugurate the event while balloons and pigeons were released to mark the joyous occasion.
