Belgium to invest $6.756m at DEPZ

A Belgium based company, Tigerco Limited, will set up a high tech garment manufacturing industry in Dhaka Export Processing Zone. The fully foreign owned company will invest US $6.756 million in setting up their unit and will produce bulletproof jacket, tent, protective clothes and garment items, says a press release. The company will also create employment opportunity for 409 Bangladeshi nationals. An agreement to this effect was signed on Thursday.
