2 held with 8 hand-made bombs

Police last night arrested two alleged extortionists and recovered eight hand-made bombs from Uttar Ibrahimpur in the city's Kafrul. They are Mohammad Russel, 24, and Monir Hossain alias Mona, 20. SI of Kafrul Police Station Motiar Rahman said acting on a tip-off police raided the house of Mona in a slum of the area and arrested them along with the bombs at about 8:00pm. Police suspected that the arrested persons use the bombs during extortion.
