Auction to sell Ekota Brickfield's materials today
Savar Land upazila administration called an auction today to sell all bricks and brick making instruments of Ekota Brickfield at Ashulia for not having license.
Assistant commissioner Land of Savar Upazila called the auction at 10:00am following a verdict delivered by Dhaka District Executive Magistrate Mohammad Al Amin on Thursday.
Amin said the business violated section 4 of 'Brick Burning (Control) Act -1989' for not having license from Directorate of Environment.
Earlier on Wednesday, Rab arrested two staffs of the brickfield on charges of keeping workers chained up.
