Jamaat leaders meet Khaleda

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia last night discussed latest political situation with Jamaat-e-Islami leaders following her party's victory in the recently held municipal and by-polls. During the meeting held at her Gulshan office, Khaleda, also Leader of the Opposition, discussed next course of action of the four-party alliance, meeting source told The Daily Star. “We have discussed overall latest political situation and exchanged views on how the four-party alliance can stand by people at the time of their sufferings,” Jamaat leader ATM Azharul Islam told this correspondent. He said they have also discussed programmes for anti-government movement which will be finalised after discussion with other like-minded political parties.
