Suborno-Ibrahim hospital founded

Foundation stones of a 100-bed general hospital and a nursing college were laid at Chandra and Shafipur respectively on Friday to provide better health services, says a press release of National Healthcare Network (NHN) yesterday. Two separate inauguration programmes were held at the venues in this regard. Rafique-ul-Huq, former attorney general and vice president of Bangladesh Diabetic Association, donated the land for Suborno-Ibrahim General Hospital in Kaliakoir of Gazipur and will bear the cost for establishing the five-storied building. Major (retd) Abdul Matin Chowhdury will bear the cost for establishing the building of Sayma-Ibrahim Nursing College and its student hostel. National Healthcare Network, an associate body of Bangladesh Diabetic Association, will run both institutions.
