Youth found slaughtered in city
Police recovered the slaughtered body of an unidentified man aged around 25 from an under-construction building in Karwan Bazar in the city yesterday.
Tejgaon police said the body was fished out from a sack on the fourth floor of a nine-storey under-construction building adjacent to the local kitchen market.
A knife, which is thought to have been used as the killing weapon, was found stuck in the victim's neck, said the police.
Police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. A murder case was filed with Tejgaon Police Station in this connection.
