UP polls by May: Sohul
Elections to union parishads will be held by May while its schedule will be announced later this month.
Election Commissioner Muhammed Sohul Hussain said this while talking to reporters after inaugurating a server station for updating voter list in Araihajar upazila.
Voting will take place in phases. It will start with coastal areas and wrap up with Dhaka division, he added. He also mentioned the upcoming UP election will be non-partisan.
