Breach of law blamed for frequent road accidents
Law Minister Shafique Ahmed yesterday said law violation tendency is the main cause behind the sharp rise of road accidents.
He told the inaugural session of the fifth national grand rally of Nirapad Sarak Chai (we want safe road) at Mohanagar Natyamancha in the city.
Roads and Railway Division Secretary M Mozammel Haque Khan and BRTA Chairman M Ayubur Rahman Khan were present at the function with Nirapad Sarak Chai Vice Chairman Syed Ehsanul Haque Kamal in the chair. Nirapad Sarak Chai Chairman and film actor Elias Kanchan presented the keynote paper.
