7th camporee begins today

The weeklong seventh national cub camporee, the biggest gathering for cub scouts, begins today at Jatiya Scout Proshikkhon Kendra in Mouchak, Gazipur. Around 9,000 cubs are likely to attend the camporee in 12 sub-camps, says a press release. Authorities concerned will ensure their accommodation, food, and treatment. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the camporee and President Zillur Rahman may attend on its closing day on February 14, as the chief guests.
