Prime minister smells anti-govt conspiracy
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday said a vested quarter is intriguing against her government with the final goal to plunge the people into sufferings.
“A vested group is trying to put the pro-people government in trouble through enormous conspiracies,” she said.
She added that the clique never wanted welfare of the country and always engaged in various types of anti-state activities.
Hasina made the remark during a meeting with the new executive committee and council of the Engineers Institution of Bangladesh and a delegation of Bangabandhu Prokousholi Parisad at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) yesterday.
PM's Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad, briefed the media after the meeting.
