Muggers shoot youth in city
Muggers shot and injured a youth at the city's Malibagh on early yesterday.
Asaduzzaman Shanto, 28, was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with bullet injuries in his abdomen.
Alamgir Bhuiya, sub-inspector of Rampura Police Station, said a gang of four muggers in a private car stopped him and fired bullet as he refused to give them money at about 1:30pm.
